Each day is the meeting point of your past and your future. You can stand and worry about what has happened. You can stand and worry about what will happen. You can stand and be happy about how great you have been in the past. You can stand and be excited about how terrific you are going to be in the next couple of weeks or months. But at the end of the day, all that is going to count is what you would do today. The living is living when you live for today. So stop thinking about your past and future.
Don’t let your present be the part of your past. Get up and hit the road, for you have to live for today.
